The ceramic jars with caps are a faithful reproduction of the domestic ceramics that were once used in Puglia for the preservation of foods, especially those in oil or vinegar, such as artichokes, aubergines and peppers. These marvelous objects of pure Grottagliese craftsmanship have been reproduced to become decorative, as well as functional, objects for the home and for the table.

The jar is glazed with a "marbled" effect, i.e. marbled or splashed, using natural colors and glazes. This ancient decorative effect is characterized by the reddish ground color due to the engobing with the bole and with ramina and is enlivened by white and green spots.

In the past, it was used to give a luxury look to poor objects made with clays and natural earths.

To show off on the coolest tables of the moment, the products of the Marble Marble collection are real jewels that represent the best of the ceramic tradition of Grottaglie (TA).

PRODUCT CARE

The product does not require any particular maintenance and cleaning with water and neutral detergents is recommended. This operation can be carried out with a damp cloth, in case of use of detergents, rinse and dry with a dry cloth.

All tableware products are suitable for food use.
